A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle at Woodham Avenue and Davenport Road on Thursday evening, according to Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District.
A Buick was backing out of a driveway about 6 p.m. when it hit the motorcyclist, Battalion Chief Robert Hall said.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with cuts on his head and leg.
He was not wearing a helmet, Hall said.
