FORT WALTON BEACH - A man charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Destin in 2011 has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, the state attorney’s office has announced.
Arderious Warren is scheduled to be sentenced by Okaloosa County Circuit Judge William Stone on Sept. 9. He faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
Warren, Reginald Bradshaw and Deaundros Blackshear were arrested for the fatal shooting of Junior Christopher Ferguson and the wounding of Peter Frazer during a drug deal Nov. 15, 2011, at Gulf Terrace Condominiums.
Blackshear, the shooter, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced in January to life in prison without parole.
Bradshaw has pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and is awaiting sentencing.
