FORT WALTON BEACH — Firefighters from both Niceville and East Niceville fire departments walked the Indian Sunrise 5K on Saturday at the Fort Walton Landing in full bunker gear and air tanks to honor firefighters who have died in service and more recently four firefighters in Houston, Texas who lost their lives while fighting a fire when a building collapsed on them.
