UPDATE: Three arrested for Spanish Villa shootings

Three people face murder charges after they were arrested in connection with the shootings at Spanish Villa Condominiums on Thursday.

Fort Walton Beach residents Benjamin Pierre Rumlin and Keenan Stacks, both 20 years old, have been charged with murder while engaged in another felony, according to police. Chloe Patricia Johnson, 17, was also arrested charged with murder.

Rumlin and Stacks were taken to Okaloosa County Jail while Johnson was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Police believe the men were committing an armed robbery during the shooting, Fort Walton Beach Sgt. Matt Holt said Saturday. He declined to release any more details.

Rumlin was arrested about 8 p.m. Friday after police searched a home on Gap Creek Drive.

Stacks was arrested about 1 p.m. Saturday on Reed Drive.

Johnson was also arrested on Saturday, but the details behind Johnson's arrest was not available Saturday night.

Witnesses identified Rumlin and Stacks as the men who shot and killed Terrence L. Robinson, 19, and wounded John Selfridge, 20. Robinson and Selfridge lived in Navarre.  

Reports of the shooting came from Spanish Villa on Marshall Drive at about 3 p.m. Thursday. Robinson and Selfridge rode in a blue Saturn sedan from there to Sullivan Street, where they pulled to the side of street.

Robinson was found dead in the car about 3:15 p.m., according to police.

Selfridge, the driver, was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the case.
