FORT WALTON BEACH – A woman was arrested after she dared a police officer to make her step outside a residence, then actively resisted and cursed lawmen.
On April 14 Fort Walton Beach Police officers went to a Charlie Hill Terrace address to investigate a disturbance. There, they found a 41-year-old woman, a house guest of the person who had called in the complaint, breaking household items and refusing to leave.
Officers told her to step outside. The woman crossed her arms and told them to make her. They explained they were merely trying to separate all parties to keep the peace, and the woman answered, “I don’t give a f---.”
She was told multiple times to leave and refused. When officers tried to force her outside, she pulled away. She refused to put her hands behind her back and began cursing officers.
“The defendant was escorted outside and refused more orders to get on the ground. When ordered, the defendant yelled obscenities and was directed to the ground by officers,” the policeman wrote in the arrest report.
She was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest without violence. Her court date is May 7.
