NAVARRE — A 38-year-old man from Pensacola was killed after he crashed his motorcycle on State Road 87 late Saturday night.
Mikkel Anthony Teekell was speeding down SR-87 and failed to negotiate the curve near River Road about 11:40 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
He was thrown from his 2013 Aprilia motorcycle and died at the scene from the injuries he sustained, the FHP reported.
Teekell was not wearing a helmet.
