'Landfill' urinates in park; witnesses call him 'disgusting'

FORT WALTON BEACH – A homeless man who goes by the street name “Landfill” was busted for urinating in the gazebo at Fort Walton Landing.

On March 18 a Fort Walton Beach Police officer was patrolling the park when somebody told him a man was urinating in the gazebo. The police officer wrote the following in the arrest report:

“I approached the gazebo, and identified the subject as the defendant (redacted), who had his back to me. I observed a yellow stream coming out of the defendant’s groin area and puddle onto the railing. Two subjects sitting next to the defendant were yelling at the defendant, telling him he ‘was disgusting’ and ‘there were kids in the park.’ The defendant initially denied urinating in the park, and then stated he ‘was an old man.’ Witnesses stated the defendant’s actions were ‘disgusting’ and caused them moral outrage.”

The man, who is 57, was charged with disorderly conduct. His court date is April 9.
