MILTON — A 76-year-old woman died after a wreck on State Road 87 at the intersection with Firehouse Road Saturday evening.
Lilia Valderama, who lives in Milton, was pronounced dead at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Herminio Valderama, also 76, was northbound on SR 87 and began to turn left on Firehouse Road about 6:30 p.m.. He pulled out in front of a southbound car, the FHP reported.
The car crashed into Valderama's sports utility vehicle. The SUV spun out and into a traffic sign.
The car, driven by Destiny Gregg, 24 of Milton, spun out and crashed into a utlitiy pole guide wire.
Gregg and her passenger Ryan Bush, 25, also of Milton, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Sacred Heart in Pensacola.
Charges were pending further investigation, the FHP reported.
Alcohol was not a factor and everyone was wearing seatbelts.
