FORT WALTON BEACH – A woman is in hot water after she failed to return an ankle monitor or contact her parole officer, according to a report.
The woman was supposed to wear the device for 30 days while on house arrest. She didn’t return the device after 30 days, and lawmen have been unable to find her, Fort Walton Beach Police say.
The device is no longer transmitting and is likely out of power or has been thrown away, the report indicated.
The charge for such an offense is grand theft. No court date was listed on the arrest report.
