FORT WALTON BEACH – A man was arrested after he had his daughter call a woman who had a restraining order against him, lawmen report.
The victim, who lives on Ed Brown Street, said a man against whom she has a restraining order used his daughter’s cell phone to call her. She said the minute he spoke she recognized his voice and hung up the phone. He tried to call her two more times, then texted her, she said.
The day before, the man’s daughter called the woman and said her father “needs to speak with her and ask her a few questions,” the report indicated.
The apparent victim said she could hear the man in the background telling the daughter what to say.
The man was charged with violating an injunction and has a Dec. 31 plea date.
