Report: Woman gets refund on items she didn't buy

CRESTVIEW – A 35-year-old Crestview woman was arrested after she went into a local discount store, chose several items, then got a refund on them without buying them first, lawmen say.

The incident occurred at Walmart on South Ferdon Boulevard, according to a Crestview Police Department arrest report. The woman was spotted coming into the store with no items, choosing $60 worth of items, then going to the customer service desk for a refund.

She was charged with retail theft. Her court date was not listed on the arrest report.
