MARY ESTHER – A man being scolded for being a bad father threatened to knock a woman’s teeth out of her mouth and was arrested, lawmen say.
The incident occurred at a Bristol Cove Road residence, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The apparent victim told deputies she and the man were in their garage when the man became angry with her after she accused him of being a bad father. She said he threatened to knock her teeth out of her mouth, and swung his right arm in a backward motion toward her face. She moved her head to avoid being struck, and called deputies.
He was charged with assault. His plea date is Oct. 8.
