A 34-year-old Milton man was convicted Wednesday for sexual battery by a person in a familial or custodial position.
Russell Maloney could face up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced on Oct. 22, according to a news release from the office of State Attorney Bill Eddins.
Maloney was arrested April 30, 2012 after the 14-year-old victim told her youth minister they’d had sex at his home. During an interview with detectives, Maloney confirmed the teenager’s story.
