FORT WALTON BEACH - Local homeless advocates and the family of Timothy Cooley will hold a memorial service Saturday for the 47-year-old man who was struck and killed by a car Aug. 15.
The service will be held at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Walton Beach.
Three candles will be lit during the service, one each for love, charity and friendship, according to Yvonne Franklin, who works to feed, clothe and care for homeless people.
