DESTIN – A 30-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend, punching him in the face and scratching his neck, lawmen say.
The couple, who live on Seagull Circle in Destin, have been together four years, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
The victim told a deputy the two got into an argument when suddenly the woman hit him in the face and scratched his neck with her hands. The man suffered a cut beneath his right eye, a busted lip, and scratches to his neck.
The woman said her boyfriend pushed her first.
The report didn’t say what the two were arguing about.
She was charged with battery. Her plea date is Sept. 17.
