DEFUNIAK SPRINGS—Deputies have evacuated several homes as a precaution after a report of an armed suspect shooting over several homes near John White Road.
SWAT has been called to the scene, said Catherine Rodriquez, public information officer for the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
No more information was available Tuesday night.
