OKALOOSA ISLAND - A woman was charged with disorderly conduct, battery on a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia after she caused a scene at an Okaloosa Island nightclub, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Club Ten on Seibert Drive about 1:30 a.m. Friday, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Shatorrian Howard, 21, of Crestview, had attacked a co-worker with a hot curling iron, according to a news release.
As a deputy tried to escort Howard from the club, she ran across the bar and hit a bartender in the mouth. She was restrained, but kicked the deputy as he put her seat belt on in the patrol car, the news release said.
Howard also spit on the deputy when he took her into booking facility.
Deputies found two pipes with marijuana residue in her purse.
