NAVARRE - The Santa Rosa County Health Department is warning swimmers to stay out of the water at Navarre Park and behind the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
A news release issued Friday said Wednesday’s water sampling “showed that levels of bacteria remain higher than established state guidelines.”
“The Health Department continues to advise against any water-related activities,” the news release said.
The release said the recent heavy rain has been a large contributor to the elevated bacteria levels.
