FORT WALTON BEACH - An unattended candle ignited a fire in a room of a house on Fulmar Circle, according to firefighters.
Crews from Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, and Ocean City-Wright were called to the house after one of its residents returned to discover smoke inside.
The door to the room was closed and prevented the fire from spreading.
The house sustained about $5,000 in damage.
