FORT WALTON BEACH - A man involved in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday afternoon was charged with DUI, according to police.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was driving a gold pickup truck west on U.S. Highway 98 near the Indian Temple Mound Museum about 4:30 p.m. when he hit an SUV’s passenger door and continued on, Fort Walton Beach Sgt. Michael Hogan said.
Police arrested him later at Memorial Parkway and Hollywood Boulevard, Hogan said.
The man's identity was not released Wednesday evening.
