FORT WALTON BEACH — A 53-year-old woman is in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times during a fight with her live-in boyfriend.
Officials with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department were called to Captains Quarters at 19 Chestnut Avenue around 4:11 a.m. for a domestic disturbance called in by a neighbor.
When they arrived they found Ernestine Allen and 53-year-old Carylon Levon Young both with stab wounds, according to Sgt. Mark Hayse with the Police Department.
Allen was taken by ambulance to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. She is currently in surgery.
“We don’t know how she is going to be,” Hayse said. “It was definitely serious.”
Young refused treatment, but he also received lacerations and stab wounds during the fight.
No arrest has been made. Hayse said the incident is currently under investigation.
