CRESTVIEW—A man was arrested after being found trying to pry open a window at a Stillwell Boulevard home Thursday afternoon.
While en route to a burglary complaint for the area of Second Avenue, deputies were flagged down by a resident. The resident told deputies he saw a suspicious man enter the backyard of a Stillwell Boulevard home.
Deputies found 30-year-old Kirk Aaron McGriff of Crestview, trying to open a window with a screw driver.
Deputies arrested McGriff with jewelry and tool kit.
He was charged with attempted burglary, possession of burglary Tools and criminal mischief.
