FORT WALTON BEACH – A man was charged with violating a protection order after he walked into his ex-wife’s workplace and tried to hand her an envelope.
The woman told Fort Walton Beach Police that on May 29 her ex-husband walked into her workplace and tried to hand her an envelope. She refused to take it and called her supervisor. Witnesses confirmed that version of events.
An officer found the man driving north on Beal Parkway and followed him to the Walmart parking lot, where he was arrested. He told the officer he was trying to deliver an alimony payment.
When officers searched his car they found two pellet guns, replicas of Glock and Walther P99 pistols.
His court date is June 18.
