DEFUNIAK SPRINGS - County Highway 183 South is scheduled to be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, June 10. This road closure will be located about 1 mile south of Interstate 10.
Work is scheduled to begin on the replacement of an existing culvert with a single span 34-foot bridge. This project is scheduled to take three to four weeks.
Alternative routes are available for through traffic via Campbell Road to G. Montgomery Road or McLeod Road to Douglass Crossroads.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling in this area.
