OKALOOSA ISLAND — A man was injured after he wrecked his motorcycle on U.S. Highway 98 about 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The wreck occurred in the eastbound lanes near the seawall on Okaloosa Island.
He was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in stable condition, said Capt. Sean Mast with the Okaloosa Island Fire Department.
The eastbound lanes of U.S. 98 were closed to traffic for about 15 minutes after the wreck.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No additional details had been released Tuesday evening.
