FORT WALTON BEACH - The second annual Lucky Leprechaun 5K/10K for runners and walkers will be held next weekend at Fort Walton Beach Landing.
The event scheduled for 7:30 a.m. March 16 is organized to help toddler Charlotte Goodman and her family pay for her cancer treatments.
Registration is $25 for runners and walkers and $5 for children. Race packets will be available from 4 to 7 p.m. next Friday at Run With It at 170 Miracle Strip Parkway downtown.
People also can register at 6:30 a.m. at the Landing on the morning of the race.
