FORT WALTON BEACH – A 33-year-old man did not take kindly to being told to clean up after himself by his stepfather, an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report indicates.
On Feb. 26 a deputy went to an Oakridge Street residence to check out a report of an alleged battery. There, the deputy was told the step-son and father were in the kitchen together as the stepson made food. The stepfather told him to clean up after himself.
At that point the stepson stood over his stepfather and struck him in the face, then used his finger to press into his stepfather’s eye.
The deputy noted the stepfather’s mouth was bloody and his eye extremely bloodshot.
The younger man was charged with battery and has a March 19 court date.
