CRESTVIEW -- Police responding to a domestic disturbance Jan. 20 heard a female screaming inside the residence. As they approached the carport, she came outside and yelled that the suspect was inside and asked them to take his (expletive) to jail, according to his Crestview Police Department arrest report.

She was bleeding, the report said.

The suspect, a 52-year-old Crestview man, refused to leave the home. The woman then went back inside the house and locked the door behind her.

Officers kicked the door in and found the suspect inside, smoking a cigarette.

He refused to put his hands behind his back and told them they could leave if they didn't have a warrant. Officers physically placed his hands behind his back, while he yelled, "I ain't going nowhere," the report said.

Officers assisted him to the patrol car.

He was charged with resisting an officer without violence.
