FORT WALTON BEACH - A man who submitted false work orders to a labor-finding company was arrested by Fort Walton Beach Police and charged with forgery.

Mark Allen Litwa, 42, of Fort Walton Beach, was arrested after officers learned he had faked three work orders to Labor Finders, according to an arrest report.

The orders - one for $81.26, a second for $162.54 and a third for $121.91 - were determined to be false after a supervisor at the company he allegedly was working for said he hadn't been at work on the days indicated on the invoices.

Litwa admitted to forging his supervisor's signature on the invoices but said he'd done so with permission.

Litwa was charged with uttering a forged instrument and will report to court on Feb. 26.
