The U.S. Marshal’s Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force on Thursday captured the final two suspects in the reported kidnapping of a 23-year-old Niceville woman, according to a news release.
Bertina Eloise Krider and Shannon Elizabeth Yeary, both 28, were caught about 1 a.m. at a home on Kelly Mill Road in Niceville.
One of Krider’s relatives reportedly lives at the home, the news release said.
The women were arrested without incident and charged with kidnapping, robbery and aggravated assault.
On Tuesday, Okaloosa County sheriff’’s deputies arrested three other suspects on the same charges: 22-year-old Brittany Plitt, 23-year-old Heather Sutton and 28-year-old Chase Stewart.
The five are accused of kidnapping and binding Bethany Stanley and beating and burning her with cigarettes. Stanley told authorities she was placed in a pickup truck and driven round Okaloosa County for about 24 hours.
Plitt and Sutton believed Stanley had stolen drugs from their home in Fort Walton Beach, the news release said.
All five suspects were still in Okaloosa County Jail on Thursday. Plitt, Sutton, Krider and Yeary do not have bonds. Stewart has a $250,000 bond.
