PACE — A Pace store was raided Wednesday after officials learned that an alternative drug known as "Spice" was being sold.
Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office executed a warrant at the Easy Save store on Diamond Street where they found around $5,000 worth of spice, an illegal drug.
At the time of the warrant's execution the owner, 43-year-old Osama Yousef was not at the store. He was later found in Escambia County and picked up for an active warrant, according to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's press release.
Other items seized during the warrant execution were narcotic paraphernalia, scales and computer equipment.
