Police are investigating an armed robbery Friday night at Petro Food Mart on U.S. Highway 90, according to police.
DeFuniak Springs officers and Walton County sheriff's deputies responded to the store at 9:50 p.m. The store clerk said a white man brandishing a gun came into the tore and demanded money.

The clerk complied, but the suspect became impatient and started grabbing money from the register.
The clerk then began throwing items at the man to get him to leave. The man fired the gun several times, but the clerk wasn't hit.
The robber fled and got in a late 1990s maroon car, possibly a Ford Taurus, driven by a white woman. The car sped east on U.S. 90.
The robber wore a black ski mask, camouflage jacket and black pants.
The holdup is believed to be related to another robbery in Washington County.
