SHALIMAR — A 21-year-old man was injured Thursday night after he misjudged a turn on Poquito Bayou and rolled his vehicle.
Deputy Chief Scott Funchess with Ocean City-Wright Fire Department said the man's vehicle hit two trees and a power line. The accident knocked out power to about 550 to 800 customers until 2 a.m., according to Gulf Power spokesman Jeff Rogers.
The accident closed the roadway to traffic near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue for several hours.
The man was extricated from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital with a broken leg, Funchess said.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
