CRESTVIEW - Police are investigating the shooting of a woman Thursday night.
The woman was found on Bowers Street after someone who heard her called police about 7:40 p.m., Crestview Police Department spokesman Lt. Andrew Schneider said.
She told police she was shot in the leg in an alleyway, Schneider said. She was taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The woman gave only vague details of the incident, Schneider said. No suspect information was available.
