CRESTVIEW – A homeless woman was arrested after a Crestview Police officer found marijuana in her purse, according to an arrest report.
The woman was apprehended on South Wilson Street on an outstanding warrant. When she was searched, the officer found a half-smoked marijuana cigarette in a pack of cigarettes in her pocket. He also searched two purses she was carrying and found a plastic bag containing a “green, leafy substance” which tested positive for marijuana.
Her purse also contained a bottle of Trazodone pills.
She was charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, possession of paraphernalia nd possession of certain drugs without a prescription. He plea date is Jan. 7.
