NICEVILLE – The following incidents were reported to the Niceville Police Department in recent days:
- A man who lives on Roberts Drive said somebody ran over his mailbox.
- A man reported to lawmen he was watching football at Helen Back when he discovered somebody had stolen a welding torch from his truck. He completed an affidavit of complaint.
- A man on Rhonda Drive said somebody slashed his truck’s tire. He said another tire was slashed about a month ago. So far he’s spent $240 replacing slashed tires. At this point officers have no suspects.
- A woman who lives on Date Palm Circle said her son’s truck windows were broken. Police questioned neighbors, who said they’d had problems with kids shooting pellet rifles in the area. An officer spoke with one of the kids, who said he hadn’t used his friend’s pellet rifle in awhile. Lawmen are still investigating.
