MARY ESTHER — Sports fans have an opportunity to win tickets to what should be one of the biggest sporting events of next year while also helping domestic violence victims.
Xtreme SportsFan in Santa Rosa Mall is holding its biggest raffle of the year, offering tickets to the 2014 BCS National Championship on Jan. 6. Raffle ticket sales will benefit the Shelter House.
Running now through Dec. 29, patrons are encouraged to visit the store to purchase their raffle tickets. One lucky winner will be announced Dec. 30.
“We offer several game tickets throughout the year, but this one is extra special,” said Fred Gold, owner of Xtreme SportsFan. “Not only will one lucky customer win tickets to the most highly anticipated game of the year, but we also get to help a charity that provides invaluable services to our area with the raffle proceeds.”
Xtreme SportsFan also is offering $5 off in-store purchases for every raffle ticket purchased.
Xtreme SportsFan anticipates raising more than $5,000 for Shelter House.
Shelter House Inc. serves domestic and sexual violence victims of Okaloosa and Walton counties. It offers a variety of services, including a confidential shelter, a 24/7 crisis hotline, support groups, child therapy and more.
