FORT WALTON BEACH — For 98 hours local disc jockey Craig Allen with station 98.1 Country, will brave the elements and porta potty smell to gain bicycle donations for children in need.
Allen ascended on a small cherry picker platform Thursday in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on Beal Parkway and will remain on the lift until Monday.

Volunteers with Bikes or Bust, which is in its third year, are trying to reach the goal of 1,000 bicycles and helmets.
