GULF BREEZE - Two people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a crash on U.S. Highway 98 and Harvest Village Court, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Taylor J. Pacyga, 18, of Gulf Breeze, failed to stop his eastbound 2007 Hyundai Sonata and crashed into the rear of a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado then hit a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, the FHP reported.
Pacyga and the motorcyclist, 39-year-old Shawn R. Malcolm of Gulf Breeze, were taken to Gulf Breeze Hospital with serious injuries.
Pacyga was charged with careless driving, according to the FHP.
The driver of the Silverado, 62-year-old Calvin B. Clark of Gulf Breeze, was not hurt.
