CRESTVIEW – A woman was charged with criminal mischief and battery after she and another woman tangled, and during the fracas they broke a tail light on a car belonging to the other girl’s mother.
Crestview Police were told the two were standing at the end of a driveway of a Purl Adams Avenue residence when the alleged aggressor started to leave. Responding to an insult from the other woman, she turned around and punched her, according to a report, which did not say what caused the initial dispute.
As they struggled, they collided with a vehicle belonging to the other woman’s mother, breaking a tail light.
The woman was charged with battery and criminal mischief. Her plea date is Oct. 15.
