Crestview resident Amber Leigh Coplen was arrested in early September for felony fraud.
She is accused of renting a television valued at $2,057 from the Rent A Center on South Ferdon Boulevard and refusing to make payments or to return the item.
A Rent A Center employee told Crestview police she “made 17 attempts to recover the property” and Coplen “stated she was not going to return the items.”
Coplen was taken into custody Sept. 4 at the Okaloosa County Jail. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 15.
