DEFUNIAK SPRINGS - A house on Sheldon Avenue was destroyed in a fire Friday morning, according to DeFuniak Springs firefighters.
Firefighters were called to the scene about 10:30 a.m. The kitchen, living room and a bedroom were in flames when they arrived, Lt. Jerry Hall said.
There was one minor injury but no one was taken to the hospital, Hall said.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
Firefighters from Walton County Fire Rescue, Liberty and Argyle assisted at the scene.
