FORT WALTON BEACH - A man was arrested in his bed after refusing to surrender to law enforcement, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
A warrant for Randall Dwight Johnson was issued on July 18 after he failed to appear in court for original charges of aggravated assault with deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery - touch or strike, according to Johnson's arrest report.
Deputies arrived at Johnson's home at about 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 5. Johnson refused to answer the deputies' knocks and demands to surender, the arrest report stated.
Deputies forced their way into the home and arrested Johnson in his bed.
Johnson now faces an additional charge of resisting officers.
