NICEVILLE – A 16-year-old boy was arrested after he was found trespassing at a local park with a set of brass knuckles in his pocket.
Park employees called Niceville Police after they recognized the boy at the park and knew from prior experience he’d been issued a trespass warning for Turkey Creek Park. The trespass warning had been issued in March.
When officers searched the boy, they found a set of “metallic knuckles” in his left rear pants pocket.
He was charged with trespassing and carrying a concealed weapon.
His plea date is Oct. 16.
