FORT WALTON BEACH — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries at Captain’s Choice Boats last week.
Several boats were burglarized sometime overnight on July 30, the Sheriff's Office reported. The stolen property was worth at least $20,000, according to initial estimates.
A man was captured on surveillance video during the burglaries and deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
In one video, the man is seen jumping over a wooden fence at the southwest corner of the parking lot at 67 Eglin Street. He was carrying a large bag.
In another video, the man disappears inside a boat for about ten minutes. He removed the GPS/Radar system and some wiring, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The white man was wearing gloves, a hat, glasses and a long-sleeved shirt.
