Realtor finds trio living in house that's supposed to be unoccupied

Niceville Police have been dealing with the following calls that have come in during the recent past:

June 26: A manager at Walmart called to say their soft drink machines had been broken into. Their representative wasn’t sure how much money was taken. Police are looking at surveillance video of the incident.

June 28: A man called police to say his wife, who is a Realtor, discovered three people living in a house that wasn’t supposed to be occupied. The trio consisted of a man, a woman with her hair pulled into a ponytail, and a boy who was about 10 years old. The three left. An officer found no sign of forced entry.

June 29: A man notified officers that some of his jewelry had been taken by a person whose identity was redacted from the call history report. The man confronted the person, who admitted to taking the jewelry. An officer spoke with the suspect, who said he’d given it to another person. He promised to retrieve it from the other person and return it to the man on threat of being arrested for grand theft.
