A flood warning is in effect for Okaloosa County until Tuesday, NWS reported. The Blackwater River near Baker was at 12.4 feet 2 a.m. Friday, and will continue rising to near 15.4 feet by Saurday afternoon.
It will fall below flood stage, or 11 feet, on Monday morning, NWS reported.
A flood warning is in effect for Santa Rosa County until Sunday morning. A flood warning is in effect for Walton County until 10:15 a.m. Friday.
A flash flood watch is in effect for Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties until Sunday morning.
For Walton County, the flash flood watch is in effect until Saturday morning.
Additional showers and thunderstorms could produce 3 to 6 inches of rain this weekend, with some areas receiving more, NWS reported.
High surf and rip currents are affecting Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton County beaches.
