MARY ESTHER – A woman is accused of going to her sister’s place of employment and challenging her to a fight.
According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the 44-year-old Mary Esther woman went to her sister’s job site, approached her and said, “You want to fight?” and struck her in the upper chest, causing her to fall backwards into a store display. She then left the location.
The victim had red marks on her chest but didn’t need medical attention.
The cause of the confrontation was described as a family dispute.
The woman was charged with battery. Her court date is July 16.
