U.S. marshals capture two fugitives

MILTON - Two Santa Rosa County fugitives were captured by the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force on Friday, according to a news release.

Christopher Stephen Ray Cassity was arrested at 6:30 a.m. in a home he was renting on Stewart Street in Milton. He was wanted by Milton police on a warrant for a felon possessing a gun or ammunition, shooting a missile into a dwelling and three gun-related misdemeanor charges.

He was taken to Santa Rosa County jail and is being held without bond.

Camrin Zan Bass, 19, of Milton, was arrested at 10 a.m. while he worked with a road crew in Blackwater State Park.

Bass was out on bond on charges he stabbed a man and pushed him into a fire earlier this year.

Marshals arrested him on a warrant for felony charges relating to burglary, larceny and dealing in stolen property.

Bass was taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
