CRESTVIEW - A man has been convicted of breaking into a home and taking a television, clothing and jewelry, according to the state attorney’s office.
The victims left their home on Old Bethel Road for about an hour Nov. 27, 2011. When they returned they found a front window broken, the state attorney’s office reported.
Michal McCallum’s fingerprints were found on the window sill.
Okaloosa County Circuit Judge Michael Flowers will sentence McCallum on July 31. He will qualify as a habitual felony offender and face a maximum sentence of 40 years.
